BMC Messsysteme GmbH (bmcm) respects and protects your privacy and personal data. Therefore is of utmost importance to us, to explain to you, when we collect data of you visiting our website and how we use them.

1. Collecting and Using Personal Data of our Customers

Personal information is information that can be used to identify you. This includes information such as your real name, address, or telephone number.

Information that is not directly related to your real identity (e.g. anonymous website statistics) is not covered. In general, you can use our online service without disclosing your identity.

The information you provide is used to process orders, to deliver goods, and for payment transactions. We also use your information to communicate with you about orders, products, and marketing campaigns as well as to keep our data records up-to-date and maintain your customer accounts.

Furthermore, we recommend bmcm products which could be of interest for you.

We gather and save all information you enter on our website to use personalized services (e.g. newsletter registration, hotline requests) or provided in any other way.

It is your decision whether to disclose this information. However, it might be that you cannot use our services if you do not fill out the obligatory form fields.

In detail, this can be your name, your address, phone number, or e-mail address as well as the name of persons, the purchased product is sent to, including their address, phone number, and e-mail address.

Sometimes we also use information from other sources and add them to our data.
Example: Information about order and delivery addresses provided by our parcel delivery and other transportations services, used to update our data base. In this way, we make sure that your next orders will be delivered and that we can communicate with you.

Your information is stored on specially secured servers. Access is available only to a few individuals who are involved in technical or editorial maintenance of the servers.

In connection with your access to our servers, data are saved for security purposes (e.g. IP address, date, time, pages viewed). No personal data are analyzed. The statistical analysis of the data remains anonymous.

2. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer to help analyze how visitors use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

In case of activation of the IP anonymization on this website, Google will truncate/anonymize the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address will be first transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
On behalf of the website owner, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website owner.

Your IP address passed by Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.

Please note that on this website, Google Analytics code is supplemented by "gat._anonymizeIp();" to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP-masking).

3. Passing Personal Data to Third Parties

Personal data about you (e.g. your e-mail address, your name) are solely for the purpose of our mutual correspondence and for whatever your declared intent in providing them was.

We guarantee not to disclose your personal data to companies other BMC Messsysteme GmbH (bmcm) unless with your express consent or due to statutory obligation.

Any information technology service provider working on commission from us is also subject to the BDSG (Federal German Secrecy Obligation Law), other legal statutes and is additionally contractually bound by the Privacy Policy of BMC Messsysteme GmbH (bmcm).

4.Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data we have stored, and further, the right to correct errors in them, to block and to erase your data. If you wish to do this, please contact us by e-mail at info@bmcm.de.

5. Scope and Validity

This Data Privacy Statement is effective immediately and dated October 1, 2013. BMC Messsysteme GmbH (bmcm) reserves the right to make changes to the declaration. Such changes will be publicized here and come into force upon the date of publication.

The Data Privacy Statement applies to all websites bmcm is responsible for.

The declaration does not apply to Internet sites of third parties, to which our websites provide links or are linked.
